We did flag that kids do make para breaks in a variety of ways—whether it's shift+return, return twice, or sometimes copying from Google Docs/MS Word with its own imported rich formatting.

So far, from what I can see, the Wordpress is somehow able to override this and ensure regular paragraph breaks.

The Preview function within the portal is less able to override this and so its display is a bit erratic (e.g. already having a significant line break with one 'return', causing some students to not press double-return after seeing their text in Preview).

Am I correct in this observations so far?

If so—something less critical but moving ahead is that we might want to try to fix the paragraph breaks appearance in Preview.
